Karlene was born in Kingston, Jamacia and came to the United States in 1979. Shortly thereafter, she was employed by the Law Office of Rosinek and Blake who trained her as a legal assistant in criminal cases; personal injury cases; and divorce cases. Both attorneys went on to become Judges.

Karlene has been working with Curt since 1989 and has assisted him in many interesting and complex cases over the years.

Karlene is married to George and has two children, Dimitri and Megan. She enjoys reading and cooking.
